The autobiography of a woman; by Waldorfia
I looked in the direction my friend was looking and saw one of the handsomest pieces of humanity I had ever laid eyes on. It wasn’t just his looks. He had a sort of aura about him. It was a type of command presence. He was in command of nothing because he was by himself. Yet he had the presence of being in command. I acknowledged to my friend that he was indeed one fine specimen of manhood. She asked the others if anyone knew who he was.
One of the girls at the table said “He is the new CEO for ‘MerlinWorks’; a game company. They just relocated to Philadelphia from California.”
“Married?” I asked.
“No” was the response.
I pursued the inquiry. “Gay?”
“Don’t think so. Why would he keep staring at you if he was?” she answered.
