You would think that this had nothing to do with my need to be noticed; however, it was quite the opposite. Every day of the week I had twenty to thirty students paying attention to me. I told them what they wanted to hear. I was being paid to be noticed.
And then it happened. I soon realized that there was at least one student that would develop a crush on me. Sometimes it would be male, at others female. I could sense a spark from either gender.
